Raelynn has been a drooling machine today! Now she's in her third outfit! So, I figured I would post pictures of all the cute outfits she's been wearing lately.

Sunday
Happy Sunday! Weather is GORGEOUS today!! Raelynn is still happy as ever, she watched her first NASCAR race last night- with her stuffed "Digger" that her grandma Kim and grandpa Greg got for her when they went to the race in Martinsville. She LOVED it! I was almost positive it would scare her- it's bigger than she is! But she kept reaching for it, brought it to her mouth, and give him "kisses" :D
Raelynn and I tried out a new church today- Grace Community Church, she was sooo well behaved! And looked absolutely ADORABLE in her Sunday dress :) After church we watched Dear John on my new mattress(mom & Greg got a new one), and now she's taking a nap.

Rollin' Raelynn
Raelynn is learning how to roll onto her side!! I've been trying to get a video of it, but she's too amazed by my video camera that she just stares at it. She just loves her play mat from Kris!! Thanks Kris!! Next thing we need: one of these! Still looking at cribs, she moves so much in her pack-n-play that she turns and has her legs up on the side. She's getting big so fast!

2 month wellness check-up
Well, our little girl is growing good! She had her 2 month wellness check-up today, and the doctor was very pleased with her growth! Raelynn is now weighing 11 pounds 11 ounces, 23.5 inches long, and has a 16 inch head! Her weight is in the 45 percentile, length in the 65 percentile, and now I am trying to get her to feed more than she has to get her caught up. She's been eating 6 ounces every 6 hours or so, and I need to try to feed her roughly every 4 hours to squish in 1-2 more feedings a day. Doctor went through the standard 2-3 months checklist, and she proudly checked everything(holding her head up, putting her hand in her mouth, cooing, following faces, smiling/laughing, etc)! I asked about Raelynn's red spot on the back of her head, and was assured that it was a harmless hermangioma, and it should go away on it's own between 9 months and 5 years of age. I brought up her congestion, and was told infants usually get small colds, and unless she can't breathe at all or gets a fever, she should be fine; her lungs sound perfect. Raelynn also had to get her 2 month immunizations today(polio, rotavirus, hepatitis B, hib, etc). Considering she did so well on her second PKU prick in the foot test, I thought she'd tough it out and it'd be like nothing. So when the nurse said "okay, momma. Show her some love.", I stuck my tongue out at her, got her to laugh, and then...
She was hysterical. Her face looked like a strawberry-red raisin with a pouty lip. Her face was clenched so tight, her cheeks turned WHITE! Like when you clench your fist and your knuckles turn white... there was a small white patch under both her eyes.
MY POOR BABY!!! I have never felt so helpless in my LIFE! Luckily, she fell asleep on the way home, I would have have to pull over, her cry was sooo horrible to hear. Throughout the day, she has been the happiest little booger, except when she was taking a nap, she cried in her sleep :( She was running a 99.5 degree temp, which was under her arm, so we rounded it to 100.5. She's doing so good, though. Gave her some tylenol with her bottle & now she's sound asleep.
Baby girl will be 12 weeks tomorrow! Boy, does time fly!

6 ounces
We had to bump big girl up to 6 ounces a feeding! And she eats it ALL!! And sometimes MORE! At least half the time she falls asleep right after her tummy is full. She has been doing SOOO well with sleeping through the night. She's slowly starting to get independent, she's not as clingy as she used to be. In a way, I'm kinda sad she doesn't want her momma ALLLL the time, but now I can actually get stuff done with both hands(men- YOU try brushing your teeth with only your non dominate hand, while leaning back so your baby can still rest on you!) For the moment, she's snug as a bug in her swing that she's almost too big for, and I'm gonna take advantage of this free time & unpack s'more!

Lazy day
The weather today is really crappy, and Rae's nose is getting stuffed up. She snorts when she tries to breathe! It's funny, but sad at the same time. So she got some benedryl in her bottle this afternoon, nasal drops in her nose, and a good nose sucking... After she breathed out and a booger went flying onto her lips, poor baby. So today we are unpacking & trying to pull the new house together while this benedryl kicks in and makes for one quiet baby.
I'm so excited we got all her clothes back! And she fits in a lot of them! Today she is wearing her owl pajamas... So cute! I can't wait for Sunday so I can dress her up for church! Hopefully the weather is a lit better than yesterday. She's been really enjoying spitting... Yes, spitting. I think she's trying to blow bubbles, but she hasn't conquered that yet- too much spit. Let's hope we hear back from the doctor today, all this running around trying to get her records up here is getting old.
Hope everyone has a great day!

Getting so big!
Raelynn is now 11 weeks old!! I can't believe it! She is growing up way too fast already. She is learning so much, it's amazing! Her favorite things to do these days are playing in the bath, watching the Sprout channel, and standing/sitting up. Not only is she holding her head up sooo well, she can stand by only holding on to my fingers! She smiles all the time, such a happy baby. We just recently went to Norfolk, VA to visit some friends, and she got to go to the beach for the first time!! She was diggin' it! She loves being outside, just wish we had more toys for her to hang out outside. This momma has to get back to unpacking- will post again tomorrow!
